Tiki... due July 21, 2020Tiki is new(ish) to our farm. We were gifted her by our friends at Alpaca Novandina. And a lovely gift, she is! We are absolutely delighted to have her in our herd! She is white in color and has beautiful fiber and a very nice disposition.
Tiki is 5 years old and was bred to our own light fawn herdsire, Alladin. This will be Tiki's very first cria - and also Alladin's! To say we are excited is an understatement. We can't wait to see the result of this pairing - and we expect her cria any day now! UPDATE: Male cria delivered July 22, 2020! |
While you might not know Janey, if you have ever visited Pronkin' Pastures, you have definitely met her mom, Lilah June (our herd matriarch). Janey and Lilah are very close, so Janey was likely quietly nearby. Janey turns 3 years old this summer and is expecting her very first baby - her status in the herd is about to change!
Janey was bred to Accoyo America Triumph. Sadly, we lost Triumph at the age of 17 this spring, so this will be his very last offspring. Triumph was a wonderful male - father to both Destiny and Clarissa, and also Victory. We expect great things from the pairing with Janey. UPDATE: Male cria delivered August 13, 2020! |
Serena... due August 21, 2020Serena is a lovely dark brown female with black on her face and feet. She is 7 years old and has had just one other cria - a handsome boy with gorgeous true black fiber that we named Noah. Sadly, Noah passed suddenly and at the age of 6 months. We were heartbroken and so was Serena.
Serena has been bred to our new herdsire, Sweet Pines Model-T. Model-T is true black, so we are hoping that Serena will delight us again with a lovely black cria. UPDATE: Female cria delivered August 18, 2020! |
Lillibet... due August 30Lovely Lillibet! With unusual taupe colored marking on her face and beautiful dark eyes, many think Lillibet is one of the prettiest girls on the farm. Lillibet is 10 years old and has given us 3 exceptional offsping - dark brown Serena (who is also due to deliver in August), rose gray Rocky, and medium fawn Ranger. Lillibet (like Serena) is also bred to Sweet Pines Model-T. We think they have potential to produce a lovely cria - and hopefully a girl this time!
UPDATE: Male cria delivered August 19, 2020! |
